This guide is the ideal companion for bird enthusiasts travelling in Pakistan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Bangladesh or Sri Lanka. It would also be useful for peripheral regions for which few guides exist. More than 1,330 species are illustrated in full colour, including a few from neighbouring countries which might be expected to occur in the region. Concise information is provided on field identification (including voice) with details on habitat, altitudinal range, status and abundance.
